Apple iPad is now officially available in India

Good news to all iPad lover's in INDIA, Apple today has finally announced they started selling "iPad" to indian market. 

Apple will make the iPad available through its Apple Retail Store's in India, with 3G services from BSNL.

On Thursday BSNL has announced attractive data plans for Apple 3G iPad, BSNL is the first among other 3G service provider in India to have a deal with Apple.

BSNL is offering both prepaid and postpaid plans for iPad owners in India. Unlimited 3G usage costs Rs 999 per month in both prepaid and postpaid. Check out BSNL's official site for Apple iPad 3G data plans in India.

Apple iPad price is somewhat higher in India comparing to iPad price in US & UK. 

However for iPad lover like me who haven't waited long and ordered for the Apple iPad after it's launch in USA. I ordered for my iPad (64 GB, 3G + Wi-Fi) on 20th August, 2010 last year and then shipped it to India which cost me somewhat higher at price to now available iPad price in INDIA. Along with Apple iPad I ordered for accessories including Apple iPad Case, iPad Keyboard Dock, Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, iPad 10W USB Power Adapter & iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter.

Except Apple iPad case all other accessories are not of much use, especially the "iPad Keyboard Dock" it looks awesome, but believe me it's not of use at all. The in-built keyboard functionality in iPad is sufficient enough, you'll never feel necessity of attaching it to the external iPad Keyboard Dock...Rest all accessories depends on your use, better my suggestion would be first to get your iPad in hand use it for few months and order accessories later as per requirement:-)

I am using BSNL 3G normal SIM which I  converted into Micro SIM to be used with iPad. It's very easy to convert your normal SIM card to fit into iPad micro SIM card in-built slot. There's dozen of videos available at Youtube or you can watch this one Video.

Before cutting your SIM as Micro-SIM, don't forget to activate your SIM and use "BSNLNET" as the data provider in your iPad Settings to work with 3G. Apple iPhone3G will be available in India - Apple iPhone 3G now available

Great news for iPhone lover across country - Apple iPhone 3G will be available in India from 22nd August, 2008.

As I mentioned in my previous blog post on Apple iPhone 3G Vodafone along with Bharti Airtel are going to sell Apple iPhone in India through their stores. When Vodafone & Bharti Airtel has announced the date of launch i.e 22nd August, 2008 and that time they kept the Price for iPhone secret and un-disclosed.

Today, I received the email regarding availability of Apple iPhone from Vodafone, since I have booked the Apple iPhone 3G from Vodafone and Airtel both online.

So, the email from Vodafone says that iPhone 3G in India will be available in 8GB & 16GB models, priced at Rs 31,000 and Rs 36,100 respectively.

If we compare the price for which Apple iPhone is available in different parts of world, especially USA it was costing around 200$ and in India they are selling at Rs 31,000/- (700 $ USD) & Rs, 36,100 (820 $ USD).

Why there is so huge difference in iPhone price?

Is Indian economy is so weak or we Indian's earn more than people from different part of World!

This is not fair, I was thinking that Apple iPhone 3G price in India will be around 25,000/- to 30,000/-

Well I think I have decide not to buy as if now, will wait or will buy unblocked iPhone from USA.

Apple iPhone3G in India - Buy your Apple iPhone thru Airtel & Vodafone on August 22

Much awaited Apple iPhone is sooner will be available in Indian market. Since after iPhone 3G launch in European, Asian countires and other parts of world, Indian customer's were eagerly waiting for it.

I do have plan to buy Apple iPhone, although I can order the new unblocked iPhone from US but planned to wait and will buy it when it is available offically in India.

It is now confirmed that Airtel and Vodafone will provide Apple iPhone 3G and any user in India can buy from their stores. Recently Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Essar have confirmed the launch date of Apple- iPhone 3G in India and the iPhone will be available from 22 August 2008.

Online booking for Apple iPhone is available at Airtel & Vodafone website. I had already booked my iPhone 3G with Airtel & Vodafone... waiting to get it soon after launch.
